Terms & Conditions of Care

By booking an appointment at Lily’s Clinic, you agree to the following terms:

Clinical Approach Lily’s Clinic provides complementary therapies rooted in a 5,000-year medical heritage. While TCM is a comprehensive system, it is intended to complement, not replace, Western medical care. We advise all patients to maintain contact with their GP regarding primary medical concerns.

Patient Responsibility Patients are asked to provide accurate health information and a full list of current medications during the Initial Diagnostic Consultation to ensure the safety of acupuncture and herbal prescriptions.

Rights of Refusal We reserve the right to refuse treatment if a condition is deemed outside our scope of practice or if a referral to an emergency medical provider is necessary for patient safety.

Medical Disclaimer

Medical Disclaimer & Scope of Practice

Complementary Care: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including acupuncture and herbal therapy, is a comprehensive system of healing. However, it is provided as a complementary therapy and is not intended to replace conventional Western medical diagnosis or treatment.

GP Consultation: We strongly advise all patients to remain under the care of their General Practitioner (GP) for primary medical concerns. You should never discontinue or alter any prescribed medication or medical treatment without first consulting your doctor.

Clinical Assessment: While TCM has a long history of success, results can vary between individuals. During your Initial Diagnostic Consultation, if Lily determines that your condition requires urgent Western medical intervention or falls outside our scope of clinical practice, we reserve the right to refuse treatment and provide a recommendation for appropriate medical referral.

Safety Standards: In accordance with UK clinical standards, all acupuncture needles used are sterile, single-use, and disposed of safely after each session.
